KQED: Above the Noise

I animate and illustrate some of the episodes.

Above the Noise is a Youtube series developed by the KQED Science Education team. ATN cuts through the hype and takes a deeper look at the research and facts behind controversial and trending topics in the news. I animate and illustrate many of the episodes. I also produce, write and shoot some of them.

I animated this episode, “Should Cops Be In Schools?”

I animated this episode, “Is College Worth the Time and Money?”

I animated this episode, “Climate Change: How Doomed ARE We?”

I wrote, produced, edited and animated these next three episodes on deepfakes, false equivalence, and Youtube’s algorithm. They were all part of a series on media literacy for students made in collaboration with Data & Society Research Institute.

I animated and illustrated this episode on sleep cycles.
